Invoices, suppliers and payments
DORA
DORA is where every invoice arrives, gets checked, approved and paid. The documents stay with the figures, so the month closes from what is already filed rather than from somebody's inbox.
Everything that arrived
The DORA incoming invoices list: each invoice with its number, supplier, invoice and due dates, net, VAT and gross amounts, its status and how many documents are filed with it.
Inside the product
How DORA is laid out
Move between the views to see where each part of the work happens.
Everything that arrived
The DORA incoming invoices list: each invoice with its number, supplier, invoice and due dates, net, VAT and gross amounts, its status and how many documents are filed with it.
Everything that arrived
Every incoming invoice in one place with its supplier, its dates, net, VAT and gross, and where it stands - open, in progress, partially paid, paid. Nothing waits in somebody's mailbox.
One invoice, end to end
A DORA incoming invoice: its supplier, dates and category, the net, VAT and gross amounts, its line items, and the documents filed against it.
One invoice, end to end
The supplier, the dates and the category; the line items with their VAT; the totals; how far through approval it is; what has been paid against it; and the documents filed with it.
Who you buy from
The DORA supplier workspace: the supplier list on the left and one supplier open beside it, with its contact and bank details, its open and outstanding totals, and its recent invoices.
Who you buy from
Each supplier beside their own invoices: contact and bank details, tax numbers, payment method, what is open and what is outstanding. A question about last quarter takes one search instead of an archive box.
What has been paid, and what has not
The DORA payments list: each payment with its source, reference, method, status, amount, payment date and whether it has been executed.
What has been paid, and what has not
Every payment against an invoice or a payroll run, with its method, its amount and whether it is still pending or has left the account. Filter by source, status, method or date.
Where the money went
A DORA report for a selected period: revenue and expenses totalled into a net profit, above a ledger summary of cash and bank movements.
Where the money went
Profit and loss for any period, and the cash and bank movement behind it, calculated from the records themselves rather than from a spreadsheet somebody maintains.
What changes
The difference it makes
The reasons businesses keep using DORA after the first month.
A month-end that is not a search
The documents are already filed against suppliers and periods, so closing is reading what is there rather than finding it.
Nothing paid twice, nothing paid late
One queue, one status per document, and due dates that are part of the record instead of a reminder in somebody's calendar.
An answer for the accountant
Every figure has its original document attached, which turns a year-end question into a lookup.
Questions
Before you get in touch
- Does DORA replace our accounting software?
- No. It handles the work before the ledger - receiving, approving and paying - and keeps the documents that support it.
- Can more than one person approve?
- Yes. Approval is a step with a person attached, and who may take it is yours to decide.
- What happens to the original documents?
- They are kept and filed against the invoice they belong to, for as long as you need them, and can be opened from it.
- Can we use DORA alongside DoraDine?
- Yes. They are separate products for separate work, each with its own workspace, managed from one DianeDigital account.
